A Human View of Excellence

Kleber’s story on how knowledge shapes excellence.

Story

"I'm constantly seeking new knowledge and learning from other people's experiences."

Kleber Carvalho

Kleber reflects on what gives him balance, why he values sharing knowledge, and how continuous learning influences his professional journey.

Discover Kleber Carvalho’s perspective on family, learning, teaching and the continuous evolution of endodontics.

Expanding Knowledge

Kleber recalls receiving samples of a completely new type of instrument in 2001. The experience was memorable because the instrument felt remarkably smooth, comfortable and efficient. Since then, he has followed product launches, innovations and each stage in the evolution of the instruments. As a professor, he sees a responsibility to evaluate the systems available and to keep expanding his knowledge.

Never Say Never

Kleber says he never imagined that one day he might inspire someone else. When a professional becomes a role model for others, that brings responsibility: being mindful of what is taught and how it is taught. The role gives him great satisfaction, while also making him aware of the responsibility that comes with influencing others.

A Human View of Excellence

Kleber describes himself as constantly seeking new knowledge and learning from other people’s experiences. He still learns from senior colleagues, but also from younger people and every generation. For him, growth comes from sharing what he knows while remaining open to learning from others.

Surprising Developments

Kleber describes endodontics today as rich in technology, concepts and techniques, and sees a promising future for the field. He says the profession must continue to pursue the art and science of saving teeth. Looking back at RACE EVO and the evolution of the instrument, he highlights its ease of use, speed, flexibility and enhanced tactile feedback as qualities that made the experience remarkable.
