Innovation and Excellence

Since 1931, in the heart of the Swiss Microtech Valley, we have been pushing the limits of endodontics by combining technology and innovation. Our mission is to provide solutions that respect the complex anatomy of teeth while improving treatment efficiency. With game-changers such as XP-endo®, RACE®, Finisher, and TotalFill®, we have transformed how endodontics is practiced, giving clinicians better tools to meet challenges with confidence.

A Tradition of Innovation

Though the company has existed since 1931, its renaming to FKG Dentaire by Jean-Claude Rouiller in 1994 marked a dedicated commitment to innovation. Since then, we’ve realized enormous success over the years and set new standards with many products, starting with the creation of the RaCe line in 1997.

In 2013, we launched TotalFill, a range of bioceramic sealers and root repair materials supported by extensive scientific evidence of biocompatibility. That same year, we introduced our first Rooter endo motor to improve the working comfort of dentists.

Soon after, new alloy compositions inspired entirely new file designs, transforming what is possible with endodontic files. In 2015 and 2016, we made significant clinical advancements with the launch of the Finisher and the XP-endo Shaper. These breakthrough products introduced a new endodontic philosophy inspired by the idea that instruments should respect the natural shape of root canals. The Finisher, a universal mechanical cleaning solution that achieves up to 98% bacterial removal while minimizing anatomical impact, exemplifies our commitment to effective and minimally invasive treatment solutions.

In 2020, we introduced RACE EVO, a solution that combines RaCe’s FKG legacy with cutting-edge design and research advancements. That same year, we launched R-Motion, a reciprocating file system that prioritizes the highest safety standards while respecting dental structures.

In the following year, our Rooter motor evolved into the Rooter X3000, a revolutionary solution with increased speed and improved compatibility with FKG’s full range of files, offering smoother, more efficient file usage.

In 2022, a new generation of XP files was launched, XP-Endo Rise, significantly enhancing user experience.

We continue to innovate, reimagine what is possible, and push the boundaries of endodontics. This is how we “empower endo.”

Driven by a Higher Standard

In our industry, FKG Dentaire is the technology leader in bringing the latest, most advanced endodontic solutions to the market. We stand apart not only for our innovation but also for our world-class educational facilities and training. We collaborate with global thought leaders in endodontics to offer the latest advancements in our courses. We are committed to helping clinicians reach new levels of excellence for themselves and their patients.

Courses are offered in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, and Oslo, Norway.

The Future of Endodontic Excellence

Today, we enter a new era of possibilities. The highly anticipated acquisition by Henry Schein® unlocks more resources to learn, innovate, and expand our offerings in the global endodontic market. Together, we are leading the way to new levels of efficiency and precision while constantly striving to preserve the natural structure of the teeth.

Quality

We are committed to deliver innovative endodontic solutions to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Commitment, excellence, respect and pleasure are our core values on which we never compromise to achieve our operational, commercial and organizational excellence objectives.
